How it works

Choose how many letters you want, pick uppercase, lowercase or a mix, and press Generate. Letters are drawn from A to Z with equal chance.

Turn on No repeats to get distinct letters — useful for word games where each round needs a fresh letter. Up to 26 letters can be unique.

Copy puts the letters on your clipboard, separated by spaces.

Questions

Are all letters equally likely?

Yes. Q and Z show up as often as E and T, because each letter has the same chance.

How many letters can I generate?

Up to 100 at a time, or 26 when No repeats is on.

Can I get random words instead?

Not here — this tool is letters only. For picking from your own words, use the Random Choice Generator.
